BJP candidate writes to Chief Justice, seeks security
Priyanka Tibrewal, the BJP candidate in Bhabanipur, has written to written to the Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court saying see fears violence after results are declared on Sunday, India Today reported. “Taking the ghastly scenario into reference, I, as a candidate for this by-election, humbly request you give a strict order to all the government enforcement department to take extreme precautionary measures,” she said in a letter, referring to violence after assembly elections in May.
