This month, two-wheeler manufacturers are all set to introduce new bikes in the Indian market. To make you informed about the same, here we have made a list of upcoming bike launches in May. Take a look.
2022 KTM RC 390

Finally, the much-anticipated 2022 KTM RC 390 is ready for a launch in the Indian market after a long waiting period. The upcoming bike will receive major design upgrades, and a better engine and ergonomics. Expected to cost around Rs 2.9 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the 2022 RC 390 will receive an LED headlamp with boomerang-shaped DRL indicators. In terms of tech features, the bike will come equipped with a TFT display and KTM My Ride provision with smartphone connectivity. Key highlights of the 2022 KTM RC 390 will include supermoto ABS, cornering and traction control.
2022 KTM 390 Adventure

The second KTM bike which will be launching in May is the new 390 Adventure. The bike has already reached some of the dealerships and is waiting for a launch in the Indian market. The updated 390 Adventure is expected to be available at a starting price of Rs 2,77,635 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 2022 KTM 390 Adventure gets a lot of tech upgrades , including a coloured TFT display and smartphone pairing via Bluetooth. Mechanically, it will make use of a 373.27cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine churning out 42.9bhp and 37Nm. A 6-speed transmission with a slip and assist clutch and a quickshifter for clutchless shifts will be on offer.
Triumph Tiger 1200

Triumph will be introducing its Tiger 1200 ADV probably this week. Likely to be launched in Rally and GT versions, the updated ADV will get a 20-litre fuel tank as well as radar-based riding aids. In terms of engine, the Triumph Tiger 1200 will be powered by a 1160cc liquid-cooled 12-valve DOHC inline 3-cylinder engine delivering 148hp power @9,000 rpm and 130 Nm torque @7,000 rpm. The engine will be paired with a six-speed gearbox. The ADV has a wheelbase of 1560mm and an adjustable seat height of 850/870mm. The Triumph Tiger 1200 price is expected to be around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.
2022 Ducati Scrambler 800 Urban Motard

After launching the Ducati Multistrada V2 in the Indian market, the brand will soon introduce the Scrambler 800 Urban Motard. A combination of the Hypermotard 950 and the Scrambler Icon, the motorcycle will be armed with 17-inch spoke wheels wrapped in Pirelli DIablo Rosso III tyres, off-road-esque fenders and supermoto-like handling. Coming to features, the 2022 Ducati Scrambler 800 Urban Motard will get a host of features like cornering ABS, a digital LCD instrument cluster, a USB charging port and all-LED lights. Similar to the Icon, the Scrambler 800 Urban Motard will be powered by a 73PS/66Nm 803cc twin-cylinder engine.
