Starring Akshay and Manushi Chhillar, the clip features the actor as Prithviraj Chauhan and the former Miss World as Sanyogita.

The makers of Prithviraj gave a glimpse of the film by sharing its teaser last year. Now, they have unveiled the trailer, giving the audience a better picture of what they can expect from the upcoming historical war drama. In the trailer, Akshay Kumar is winning hearts with his flawless swordsmanship. The actor is essaying the role of the legendary warrior, Prithviraj Chauhan. He was the king of the Chahamana dynasty, who fought valiantly against the merciless invader Muhammad of Ghori. Manushi, on the other hand, charms as she makes an appearance as Princess Sanyogita.
Talking about his upcoming film, during the trailer launch, Akshay said, “Everything shown in the film is authentic and correct. It is startling that the story has been unknown for such a long time.” Sharing the official trailer on Twitter, the actor wrote, “Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Celebrate Samrat #Prithviraj Chauhan with #YRF50 only at a theatre near you on 3rd June (sic).”

Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Prithviraj is produced by Yash Raj Films. It is touted as the biggest historical drama produced by the production house. The film is based on the life of King Prithviraj Chauhan.
Akshay Kumar will be seen playing the titular role, while Manushi Chhillar will be making her Bollywood debut in the role of Sanyogita. Before Prithviraj, Dwivedi has directed television show Chanakya and the film Pinjar. The film is all set to release on June 3, 2022.
