A man has been arrested for allegedly stalking and sexually harassing a woman at a Delhi Metro station on Thursday.

Police have arrested a man for allegedly stalking and sexually harassing a woman at a Delhi Metro station on Thursday. The accused has been identified as Rajesh Chand Meena who works as a primary teacher in Delhi’s Gokulpuri.

The matter had come to light when a PCR call was received at PS Yamuna Depot Metro (YDM), station controller of IP Extn Metro station, alleging that a woman had been sexually harassed by a man.

In her complaint, the victim stated that on Thursday, July 7, when she had gone to the MCD office for office work, she noticed that a man was following her. After that, while boarding the train from IP Extn. metro station, she found the same man at the metro station.

It was when she entered the lift at IP Extn. metro station, that the accused also entered with her. It is alleged that the accused then groped her breasts and threatened her to not disclose the incident to others, failing which he will kill her.
