The results of the bypoll election in 48 assembly seats and two parliamentary seats across 15 states will be declared on Saturday, November 23.
The Assembly by-elections were held in nine seats in Uttar Pradesh, seven seats in Rajasthan, six seats in West Bengal, five seats in Assam, four seats each in Punjab and Bihar, three seats in Karnataka, two seats each in Madhya Pradesh and Kerala and one seat each in Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Uttarakhand and Meghalaya, in two phases on November 13 and 20.
In Uttar Pradesh, the by-polls are being seen as the first major electoral battle between the BJP and its political rivals after the Lok Sabha elections, with all parties aiming to set the narrative for the 2027 assembly elections.
