A
45-year-old
woman
from
Swindon,
England,
was
found
dead
in
her
home,
partially
eaten
by
her
pet
dogs,
according
to
Network
18
report.
The
woman,
identified
as
Hart,
was
discovered
in
her
living
room
after
neighbours,
who
had
not
seen
her
for
a
month,
became
concerned
and
contacted
authorities.

The
alarm
was
raised
when
Hart’s
dogs
were
heard
barking
continuously.
Lorraine,
a
neighbour
with
a
spare
key,
attempted
to
enter
the
property
but
found
the
key
still
in
the
lock.
Unable
to
gain
access,
Lorraine
contacted
the
police,
fearing
something
had
gone
wrong.
Officers
arrived
at
the
scene
and
made
the
grim
discovery
of
Hart’s
body,
partially
consumed
by
her
dogs.
One
of
her
dachshunds
was
found
dead,
while
the
surviving
dog
appeared
distressed.

Lorraine
described
Hart
as
a
“troubled
soul” who
had
faced
mental
health
struggles
and
was
going
through
a
difficult
time
after
a
breakup
with
her
long-term
partner.
Hart’s
son
paid
tribute
to
his
mother
on
social
media,
saying,
“Dogs
were
her
life,”
and
confirming
her
passing
on
January
29.

Hart
was
a
well-known
dog
lover,
having
owned
several
dogs
over
the
years.
In
2022,
she
acquired
a
dachshund
named
Frankie,
followed
by
the
adoption
of
another
dachshund,
Millie,
in
2023.
She
had
plans
to
sell
puppies
from
these
dogs.

Coroner
Ian
Singleton
confirmed
that
Wiltshire
Police
were
notified
of
Hart’s
disappearance
on
January
29,
leading
to
the
discovery
of
her
body.
The
police
confirmed
that
Hart’s
dogs
had
resorted
to
consuming
her
body
after
her
death.

Forensic
evidence
revealed
that
Hart
had
died
by
suicide.
Police
have
confirmed
that
they
are
not
treating
the
death
as
suspicious.
Hart
had
been
suffering
from
health
issues
and
chronic
pain,
which
had
forced
her
to
stop
working.
Despite
living
in
the
same
home
for
over
a
decade,
she
had
not
been
in
contact
with
any
mental
health
services.
