Met Police officers and paramedics are on the scene at Bishopsgate, near Liverpool Street Station. The incident seems to have happened just yards away from a police station.
In the incident, some masked robbers on electric bikes tried to steal phone of a pedestrian, as per reports. In response, three pedestrians and a man on a motorcycle, who stopped to help, tried to stop the theives but instead got stabbed in the scuffle that ensued, the reports added. In a few minutes, the police came.

According to some Twitter accounts, two individuals wearing balaclavas, who were riding electric bikes, attempted to grab someone’s phone. This led to a struggle between the theives and the pedestrians. A courier driver also stopped to help the pedestrians.
The attackers fled the scene. Police have blocked off a large section of Bishopsgate and placed the area under lockdown. According to the reports, three people were stabbed and a person pushed to the ground on Bishopsgate at 9.46 am, and officers arrived at the scene at 9.51 am. London Ambulance Service (LAS) transported the injured to a local hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, another witness stated he drove past the scene and observed four people injured. London police informed him the four victims were stabbed at random. Roads were still open at the time and there was blood everywhere, the witness told a media outlet. Lockdown has been imposed on nearby offices. At this moment, no arrests have been reported.
