Saudi Arabia’s state oil producer Saudi Aramco has raised official selling ‌prices for liquefied petroleum gas by between 5.9% and 6.8% for November due to seasonally higher demand and limited ‌LPG supply on global markets, traders said on ‌Friday (October 30, 2026).

Algeria’s Sonatrach lifted LPG ‌prices for November by between 23% and 40%, the traders said.

Saudi Aramco’s OSPs are used as a reference ‌for contracts to supply LPG from the West Asia to the Asia-Pacific region ‌while Sonatrach’s OSPs are used as benchmarks for the Mediterranean and Black Sea region, including Turkey.

Saudi Aramco’s November OSPs increased by $40 ‌a metric ton to $720 a ton for propane and by $50 a ton to $780 a ton for butane.

Propane and butane are types ‌of LPG with different boiling points. LPG is mainly used as fuel for cars, heating, and as a feedstock for other petrochemicals.

Sonatrach increased its November propane ‌OSP by $155 a ton to $825 and for butane by $300 a ton to $1,050.
