An influencer has been arrested for allegedly filming herself engaging in sexual acts with her pet dog, a chihuahua, and posting the videos on Instagram.
Logan Guminski, 27, from Ocala in Marion County, Florida, described herself as a ‘dog mom’ and has a following of around 15,000 on the Meta-owned platform.
On March 21, Guminski was apprehended and charged with two felonies: sexual activity involving an animal and filming such activities. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office detailed the arrest in a Facebook post, revealing an image of Guminski being escorted in handcuffs wearing pink sweatpants and a grey hoodie.
The investigation began after an anonymous tip in January reported the disturbing content on Guminski’s Instagram. Detective Batts led the investigation, uncovering several incriminating photos and videos. The gathered evidence confirmed Guminski’s involvement in the alleged acts. During her police interview, Guminski admitted to creating and sharing a video with another social media user for $500. She also confessed to engaging in similar acts with another dog, with the videos still stored on her phone.
Guminski’s Instagram account, which remains active, shows numerous posts of her affectionately cuddling and kissing her dogs. In one post, she used a feature to ‘show what your man looks like’, which humorously displayed a picture of a dog above her head. She captioned the post, ‘What can I say… they are quite literally my whole world’, featuring a compilation of her and her dogs dated March 13, just over a week before her arrest.
On March 19, just days before her arrest, Guminski shared a video introducing a new dog to her followers. ‘Introducing the newest member of the family. Guys say hi to Juniper, AKA Junebug’, she wrote.
Guminski was released on a $10,000 bond on March 22 and is scheduled to appear in court for an arraignment hearing on April 22.
