India vs Australia, AFC Asian Cup Match Live: An error from Gurpreet Singh Sandhu cost India heavily as Australia scored the opening goal off it. In an attempt to intercept a pass in the ongoing second-half, Gurpreeet unintentionally served the ball to Jackson Irvine, who hit it into the post from a close range inside the penalty area. In the first half, India captain Sunil Chhetri came agonisingly close to scoring the opener but his header missed the target by a small margin.
