According to sources, with exit polls now out, both alliances have begun reaching out to independent candidates and smaller party representatives who are likely to win the elections.

“Both alliances are working to persuade these candidates ahead of counting day, urging them to pledge support if their respective alliances secure a significant number of seats,” sources said.

“With just two days remaining after the results to form a government, both alliances—confident of having an edge—have started preparations by establishing connections with these independents and leaders of smaller parties,” they added.
