Sirens
blared
across
northern
and
southern
Israel
following
the
launch
of
ballistic
missiles
from
Iran.
The
Israeli
Defense
Forces
(IDF)
had
issued
an
early
warning
to
many
areas
in
the
country
after
detecting
the
attack.
Defense
officials
reported
that
two
missiles
were
launched
from
Iran
and
successfully
intercepted
during
this
initial
barrage,
according
to
local
media
reports.
As
per
a
report,
a
missile
strike
by
Iran
has
killed
three
people
and
left
seven
injured
in
Beersheba
city.
Many
are
feared
trapped
under
the
rubble
of
a
collapsed
building.
It
comes
after
US
President
Donald
Trump
announced
a
ceasefire
between
Israel
and
Iran,
which
was
expected
to
begin
soon.
According
to
Trump,
the
ceasefire
would
be
implemented
over
24
hours.
He
stated
on
Truth
Social,
“CONGRATULATIONS
TO
EVERYONE!
It
has
been
fully
agreed
by
and
between
Israel
and
Iran
that
there
will
be
a
Complete
and
Total
CEASEFIRE
(in
approximately
6
hours
from
now,
when
Israel
and
Iran
have
wound
down
and
completed
their
in
progress,
final
missions!),
for
12
hours,
at
which
point
the
War
will
be
considered,
ENDED!
Officially,
Iran
will
start
the
CEASEFIRE
and,
upon
the
12th
Hour,
Israel
will
start
the
CEASEFIRE
and,
upon
the
24th
Hour,
an
Official
END
to
THE
12
DAY
WAR
will
be
saluted
by
the
World.”
Ceasefire
Claims
Disputed
Despite
Trump’s
announcement
of
a
ceasefire
agreement
between
Iran
and
Israel
on
Monday,
Tehran
denied
receiving
any
such
proposal
from
the
US.
Iranian
foreign
minister
Seyed
Abbas
Araghchi
took
to
X
to
clarify
that
there
was
“no
agreement
as
of
now.” He
stated
that
if
Israel
ceased
its
aggression
against
Iran
by
4
am
Tehran
time,
they
would
not
continue
their
response.
Meanwhile,
Israel
has
remained
silent
about
Trump’s
ceasefire
claim
and
has
not
commented
on
its
implementation.
The
situation
remains
tense
as
both
nations
navigate
these
developments.
Iranian
Response
The
Iranian
Foreign
Minister
also
praised
their
armed
forces
for
their
actions
during
the
conflict.
Araghchi
expressed
gratitude
towards
their
military’s
efforts
to
defend
Iran
until
the
very
last
minute.
He
stated
that
military
operations
continued
until
4
am
as
a
response
to
Israeli
aggression.
The
missile
attack
on
al-Udeid
Air
Base
in
Qatar
by
Iran
occurred
shortly
before
Trump’s
ceasefire
announcement.
Both
Trump
and
Qatar
confirmed
that
no
injuries
or
casualties
resulted
from
this
attack.
The
unfolding
events
highlight
ongoing
tensions
despite
attempts
at
diplomacy.
As
both
nations
assess
their
positions,
regional
stability
remains
uncertain.
